Vintage cheongsam/qapio gown is a body hugging dress which was the rage in the 1950s, and still epitomizes classic style and grace. Qapio means banner robe and used to describe the long dress worn by women belonging to the eight banners of Manchu. Popularized by Chinese actress Helen Li Mei in 1958.
