The silver band was Dorothy Thorpe's signature in the 1960s. Since there was not any mark that she used, the Silverband glasses were made by many manufacturer's and widely copied. I am not sure if these are Dorothy Thorpe's, or another vintage brand, but these 2 mugs have beautiful, sleek mid century style. Measure 5 3/4 in tall, hold 12 oz, the silver bands are intact, do not put in dishwasher!
