Pretty authentic swiss chalet trinket box from switzerland, the music box does not work. Still charming and a nice itte trinket box for very small things (inside area measures 2 3/4 x 21/8 x 1/2 in tall). The base can be unscrewed if you are handy and the music mechanism replaced or fixed...made by Reuge, who has been making collectible music boxes since 1865.
