Solid Brass candle holder with finger loop. Made in Thailand, measures 6 3/4 in to outer edge of finger loop x 3 1/2 in tall, no pitting, brass is in very good condition
Before the proliferation of electricity services, candles were brought into the bedroom using chambersticks, which were shorter than ordinary candleholders and furnished with a wide pan to catch the wax drippings.
