It does come apart and it will be shipped that way for protection and to keep costs down. This rare and one of a kind piece weighs almost 6 lbs, and measures 13 in tall x 11 in at bottom tier and 8.25 in at top tier.
Please note why I do not add free shipping, I know Etsy is trying to penalize sellers who can't offer free shipping by dropping your item in the search page rankings. They suggest adding the cost of shipping into the price, and a lot of seller's are doing so... However, if you are an east coast buyer shipping will run $9.46 but to West coast it runs $26.75, this is hardly fair for someone on the east coast if I tried to hide the shipping in my price. So as an effort to keep prices low, and be transparent, I must charge for shipping.
